Psyllium husk is a natural soluble fibre from the seeds of Plantago ovata — one of the most researched natural fibres in existence, with over 40 years of clinical study. Taken with water, it forms a gel in your gut that supports digestive regularity, blood sugar management, healthy cholesterol, and hormone clearance.
No. Psyllium husk is a soluble fibre, not a stimulant laxative. It doesn't create dependency, doesn't cause urgency, and doesn't force anything. It simply adds bulk and moisture to your digestive system, making transit natural and consistent — replicating what food should already be doing.
Powder requires measuring, mixing, and drinking quickly before it gels. Most women don't keep that habit long enough to see results. Our capsule format is simple, discreet, and consistent — the same ingredient in a format you'll actually maintain. Compliance is everything with psyllium.
Psyllium Husk (Seeds), Capsule Shell: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Flow Agent: Di Calcium Phosphate, Anti-Caking Agents: Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide.
Vegan capsule. No artificial colours, flavours, or sweeteners. GMP-certified manufacture. Every excipient declared.
90 capsules per bottle. At up to 3 capsules per day, one bottle lasts approximately 30 days. Most women settle into their consistent daily dose during week 2–3.
Yes. Psyllium husk is one of the most commonly recommended supports for GLP-1 medication users. These medications slow gastric emptying — constipation is one of the most reported side effects. Psyllium supports transit gently and effectively without interfering with the medication itself.
Take TMW at a different time of day to your injection or oral medication, always with a full glass of water. Speak to your prescribing clinician if you have any questions.
Start with 1 capsule daily in your first week, with at least 200ml of water. Increase to 2–3 capsules from week 2 as your body adjusts. If you feel any bloating or discomfort, simply drop back a capsule and build up more slowly — this is normal and doesn't mean it isn't working. Take with or before a meal; morning works well for most women.
Most women notice improvement in regularity within 10–14 days of consistent use. Initial bloating settles within the first week or two. Broader benefits — hormone balance, skin clarity, blood sugar stability — build over 8–12 weeks. Results come from consistency, not a single dose.
Please don't stop — this is one of the most common reasons women miss out on the results. Some initial bloating is completely normal as your gut bacteria adapt to increased fibre.
Simply drop back to 1 capsule (or even half your current dose) and increase again much more slowly over 2–3 weeks. The bloating settles within 10–14 days for most women, and what follows is usually the improvement you were hoping for.
Yes. Psyllium husk is a food-grade soluble fibre with a long safety record, designed for consistent daily use. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your GP before starting. If you are on medication or under medical supervision, speak to your practitioner.
Psyllium can affect absorption of some medications if taken at the same time. As a general rule, take TMW at least 2 hours before or after any medication. If you are on prescription medication, check with your doctor before starting.
Yes. Psyllium works well alongside most supplements. If you take a probiotic, TMW actually complements it — psyllium acts as a prebiotic substrate, feeding the beneficial bacteria your probiotic introduces. Take TMW separately (at least 1–2 hours apart from other supplements) as a general best practice.
Many women notice their worst bloat week becoming calmer after 2–4 weeks of consistent use. Hormonal bloat is often made worse by slow gut transit — when digestion is sluggish, oestrogen that's been processed by your liver gets reabsorbed rather than cleared. Fibre helps flush it out. Results vary, but this is one of the most commonly reported benefits.
Psyllium husk is one of the most clinically studied fibres for IBS — particularly IBS-C (constipation-predominant) and IBS-M (mixed). It is a soluble, gel-forming fibre that does not ferment rapidly, making it much better tolerated than insoluble fibres for most people with IBS.
Start with just 1 capsule and increase very slowly over 3–4 weeks rather than 1–2. If symptoms flare, drop back and build again. If you have IBS-D or follow a low-FODMAP diet, speak to your GP or dietitian first.
Yes. PCOS is closely linked to insulin resistance, elevated androgens, and gut microbiome imbalance — all areas where psyllium's evidence base is particularly strong. Psyllium slows glucose absorption, which helps reduce post-meal insulin spikes. It also supports oestrogen clearance through the gut, and feeds the beneficial gut bacteria that play a role in hormone metabolism.
It is not a treatment for PCOS, but it addresses several of the underlying drivers. Many women with PCOS report improvements in bloating, skin, and energy within the first month of consistent use.
Nothing dramatic. Psyllium works cumulatively — missing a day won't undo your progress. Just pick up where you left off the next morning. Consistency over weeks is what matters, not perfection every day.
